PROFIT MINNESOTA is providing innovative solutions to our state’s serious fiscal problems. With an estimated $5 billion deficit, Minnesota needs to embrace our proposal, which will:
- Create and save thousands of jobs while lifting up small businesses
- Vitalize local economies in all 87 Minnesota counties
- Support struggling charitable organizations with millions of dollars in new donations every year
- Provide resources to the state legislature for public services such as K-12 education and nursing homes
PROFIT MINNESOTA advocates for state-regulated charitable gaming, a creative, tax-free solution that will provide vital funding for youth programs and veterans groups, additional funding for public safety in communities throughout our great state, and much needed capital to help small businesses begin hiring again.
The hospitality industry accounts for 1 in 10 of Minnesota's jobs. Over 220,000 of those jobs are produced by licensed bars and restaurants that help to make up our coalition. Unfortunately, this industry has experienced a great negative impact in recent years. Profit Minnesota aims to help save and create thousands of jobs , jobs that will exist in every community throughout the state. With a struggling economy, we all understand the importance keeping jobs in our backyard, and Profit Minnesota will work to make sure this happens!
We need to support this effort now!
